Pendidikan Agama Islam Sebagai Upaya Membentuk Akhlak Siswa

Islamic religious education involves educators' intentional efforts to prepare students to embrace, comprehend, and practice islamic teachings. This is facilitated through structured instruction, training, and activities aimed at achieving specific objectives. The significance of Islamic religious education lies in its influence on students' moral growth. Through moral education, students' faith and understanding of Islam are cultivated, fostering their development into devout Muslims characterized by virtues such as patience, honesty, humility, generosity, politeness, perseverance, willingness to sacrifice, fairness, wisdom, gentleness, and trust in Allah SWT. Moreover, islamic religious education underscores the importance of possessing virtuous qualities towards Allah SWT, acknowledging humans' unique attributes and blessings. It also underscores the parental role in instilling these values, as children are entrusted by Allah SWT to their parents. Morality is inherent to human nature, manifesting in everyday behavior. These values encompass respect for Allah SWT, reverence for Prophet Muhammad, self-respect, familial responsibility, social etiquette, and environmental stewardship, aiming for integration into daily life.
