TINJAUAN HUKUM ISLAM TERHADAP JUAL BELI ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN SHOPEEPAYLATER

This research raises the subject of Islamic Law Evaluation of Online Buying and Selling Transactions Using Shopeepay Later Credit. There are two research objectives: First, to analyze the online buying and selling process involving Shopeepay Later credit. Second, to examine the Islamic legal perspective on online transactions using Shopeepay Later credit. This research was conducted through literature study, using primary data sources such as the Al-Quran and related literature, as well as secondary sources such as hadith, the official Shopee website, and related journals. Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings of this research reveal that Shopeepay Later credits are used in the Shopee marketplace application. Users register to activate the service and then make periodic payments according to the selected schedule, using various methods including ATM transfers, internet banking, mobile banking, or payments at convenience stores such as Indomart and Alfamart. From an Islamic law perspective, Shopeepay Later is in line with the basic principles and conditions of buying and selling, especially those related to the qard concept. Additionally, this perspective is supported by DSN-MUI guideline No: 110/DSN-MUI/IX/2017, which allows price variations between cash and non-cash payments, validating price differences on Shopeepay Later for immediate or installment-based purchases. Shopeepay Later transactions can also be thought of as deferred sales, such as greeting transactions, even though in Shopeepay Later, the delay is related to payment. However, it is important to note that the 5% fine imposed for late payments is seen as a form of usury according to Islamic legal opinion.
