Pesan-Pesan Qur’ani untuk Mengenali Diri

Islam is a new thing in evolutionary psychology. The title of this study is the Qur'anic Message for Self-Recognition. This article aims to explore and know how the Qur'an gives guidance to humans on the foot of their lives. Data analysis methods using descriptive analysis and interpretation. The results of this study state that the abundance of Human Resources determines for the development of Islamic psychology because basically in the field of Islam psychology has the knowledge, skills and ability to interpret the verses of the Qur'an. The conclusion of this study describes that the concept of selfesteem in the view of Islamic psychologists differs from the modern psychological view where the Islamic psychological concept that everything is not free from the element of divinity. In Islam, self-esteem can be described by the term muru’ah. Linguistically has the root of the word "mar'u", which means personal, human, person, with the addition mim meant to be a character, which means to uphold the qualities of humanity. Muru'ah shows the personality of a truly human Muslim. The fuqaha give the definition that the muru'ah is a form of personality of a Muslim that makes him honorable and the rejection of anything that may humiliate his dignity.
