Menganalisis Pro-Kontra Masyarakat Terhadap Pemahaman Investasi Konvensional dan Investasi Syariah

This study aims to determine public literacy towards investment so that it can find out the tendency of the community in choosing the type of investment and the reasons for choosing the type of investment. In this study using quantitative methods whose data collection methods use questionnaire-based applications with respondents coming from various jobs that influence understanding and decisions in investing. In addition, this study used the library method. Pay attention to the suitability of the results of library research with the actual situation. Data collection using reference sources in the form of writing that requires analysis. The results of the study prove that the increase in the number of people who start investing continues to increase, this happens in various investment instruments. There is a tendency for people to choose sharia investment with the aim of avoiding usury. This is in line with the principle of investment in Islam. However, there are problems found. People who invest do not necessarily know the type of instrument chosen, there is a tendency to follow the circumstances of the times that began to intensively invest without considering the funds spent, so there are many misinterpretations of investment which result in people feeling investment like gambling. The results of this study can be taken into consideration that sharia literacy in Indonesia is quite an emergency, because its understanding is not in line with the number of people who invest, so this research can be a teaching material to provide evidence of the importance of providing socialization to the community to avoid gambling under the guise of investment and not violate Islamic law in the future.
