Electronic Wallet dalam Perspektif Islam

Abstract
Today's technological developments have advanced very rapidly which cannot be separated from everyday life, the development of increasingly sophisticated technology and the presence of financial technology, one of which is E-Wallet. However, is E-Wallet in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Law? As we know, the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. In this research, the Islamic perspective on E-Wallet will be discussed. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a library study method. The results of this research state that the use of e-wallets in Islam is considered halal, by always ensuring that e-wallet transactions comply with sharia principles, such as avoiding usury, ensuring there are no transactions with haram objects, and maintaining compliance with the basic principles of Islam. This is based on regulations from Bank Indonesia and DSN-MUI fatwa no. 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017.
