PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT MENGENAI KONSEP TA’ARUF SEBAGAI UPAYA MEMBANGUN KELUARGA SAKINAH DI DESA BANYU TAJUN HULU

Almost all people who are about to get married go through the process of getting to know each other with the candidate. Ta'aruf is the process of introducing a partner in order to lead to marriage in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law. Ta'aruf is a solution in getting to know and choosing a potential partner without going through courtship. Their activities are different from dating. In the ta'aruf process, a person can also consider, sort and choose who will be his life companion because choosing a quality partner is the first step in forming a sakinah family. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to get to know ta'aruf, how is the public's perception of couples who marry ta'aruf in Banyu Tajun Hulu Village, Sungai Pandan District and how is the review of Islamic law on people's perceptions of ta'aruf in Banyu Tajun Village Hulu Sungai Pandan District. The type of research used in this research is field research. As for the subjects in this study, namely the community, husband and wife who are married to the concept of ta'aruf and scholars in Sungai Pandan District. The object of this research is the public's perception of the concept of ta'aruf as an effort to build a sakinah family in Banyu Tajun Hulu Village, Sungai Pandan District. This study uses data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentaries. The data is processed using data verification techniques, display (displaying data), data reduction and then data analysis is carried out
