Pengaruh Penambahan Zat Aditif Natrium Hipoklorit (NaOCL) Terhadap Karakteristik Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton (CPHMA) Dengan Modifier Minyak Kemiri

Abstract
Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton (CPHMA) is an asphalt mixture that can be applied at low temperatures, making it more efficient and environmentally friendly than conventional hot mix asphalt. However, CPHMA mixtures still have shortcomings in terms of stability and durability under environmental conditions. This study aims to investigate the effect of adding kemiri oil and the additive sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) on the characteristics of CPHMA asphalt mixtures. The research method used is a laboratory experiment by preparing CPHMA asphalt mixtures with various contents of kemiri oil and NaOCl. The evaluated mixture characteristics include Marshall stability, flow, Marshall Quotient (MQ), Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), and Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB). The test results are analyzed and compared with technical specifications based on Bina Marga standards. The results indicate that the addition of kemiri oil improves the flexibility of the mixture, while NaOCl enhances the bonding between particles in the mixture. The combination of these two additives provides improvements across all tests. In the centrifuge test, the 1% additive content produces the highest extract volume, indicating the most effective dissolution process. In the liquid–liquid extraction test, the highest extraction efficiency is also achieved at 1% additive content with a value of 85.27%. In the Marshall test, the 3% additive content yields the highest stability value, demonstrating the best load-bearing capacity. Overall, this study successfully determines the optimum contents of kemiri oil and NaOCl that produce mixtures with the best Marshall characteristics and comply with the applicable technical requirements.
