Potensi Minyak Kanola, Kacang Tanah, Kemiri Sebagai Pelarut Asbuton Pada CPHMA

Abstract
The potential of asbuton as an alternative substitute for asphalt oil is increasingly being noticed by the government, this is strengthened by the issuance of several central government regulations that project the use of asbuton as part of national road materials. It cannot be denied that the deficiency of asbuton regarding the need for solvents and the instability of its asphalt content becomes an object for road construction practitioners, which causes until now the use of asbuton is still not maximal and touched in its performance. Researchers as part of technological advancement can play a role in maximizing the use of asbuton, one of which is by optimizing the problems faced in asbuton technology. This study aims to find an alternative asbuton solvent material based on vegetable oil to be applied to Cold Paving Hot Mix Asbuton (CPHMA) pavement. It is expected that with the discovery of alternative solvents, it will improve the quality of asbuton as a road pavement material and increase the confidence of practitioners and consumers in the use of asbuton. The results obtained through this study are that the three variations of vegetable oil, namely kemiri oil, canola, and peanut oil, provide Marshall parameter values that meet CPHMA regulations except for Marshall stability values. But based on the Marshall stability value, it was found that kemiri oil gave the highest stability value. Therefore, kemiri oil has the highest potential as an asbuton solvent compared to the other two vegetable oils
