Upaya Penguatan Program Stimulasi, Deteksi dan Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang (SDIDTK) pada Anak Usia Prasekolah

Abstract
The Stimulation, Early Detection, and Early Intervention of Child Growth and Development (SDIDTK) Program was initiated by the Indonesian government as a national strategy to prevent and manage growth and developmental problems from an early age. Despite its importance, implementation at the community level continues to face several challenges, including a shortage of trained personnel, limited availability of standardized developmental assessment tools, and insufficient collaboration among the education, health, and family sectors. Strengthening the implementation of this program is therefore crucial to ensure optimal child development outcomes. This community service activity aimed to enhance the implementation of the program among the kindergarten partners of the Diploma III Midwifery Study Program at Poltekkes Kemenkes Maluku. The activity was conducted in four kindergartens and targeted preschool children aged 3 to 6 years. The service team carried out anthropometric measurements and developmental screenings using the Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP) instrument among all participating children. A total of 79 students participated in the growth and developmental screening. The results indicated that, while the majority of children exhibited normal growth and development, a small proportion showed nutritional and developmental concerns that required further attention. The results were shared with partner institutions to inform the development of appropriate interventions. Strengthening collaboration between schools, community health centers, and families is essential to sustain early detection and intervention efforts. This community service initiative contributed to strengthening the SDIDTK Program at the local level and supported kindergartens and health centers in optimizing the growth and development of preschool-aged children. Continuous capacity building for educators and health workers, along with improved intersectoral collaboration, is recommended to enhance the program’s effectiveness.
